In order to set up Two-factor authentication or link your Switch account to a different platform you will need to authorize Warframe as a third-party service to receive your Switch account information. You can do this directly through our Website.
The first time you sign into your account on our website you will be prompted for additional verification.
"Your Warframe account may not be authorized on your Nintendo Switch console."
To resolve this:
- Launch Warframe on your Switch using the profile that you're trying to access.
- Once you are logged in, hit the "+ Button," then go to "Profile."
- You should see "Web Authentication" as the lowest option on this menu. Press this option.
It may simply look like nothing happened, but the option is now gone. This means your authentication was successful!
Parental Restrictions: Your Nintendo Switch account may be part of a family account that enforces parental restrictions. If you are playing Warframe on a restricted account, you may encounter difficulties accessing our website.
My Web Authentication Button Isn't there!
If the website is prompting you to select Web Authentication, but you are not seeing the option in your pause menu you may be signed into the wrong account on our Website or Nintendo's Website.
Please verify that you are signed into the game using the same account that you are trying to access on both websites.
Revoke Permission
If you are still having issues accessing the site, but have confirmed that Warframe is an authorized third party, you may try revoking this permission and re-authenticating.
To do this:
- Sign into your account on Nintendo's Website.
- Go to "Privacy and Other Settings," then next to "Services Using Account Information."
- "Hit Confirm".
- Press the dropdown arrow next to Warframe, then press "Revoke Permission."
You can now go through the authorization process again on our website to re-authorize Warframe.
