Digital Extremes Code of Conduct:
Digital Extremes is dedicated to maintaining a positive and welcoming Community to all players! Players who engage in hate speech, abusive behavior, or excessive profanity will be subject to significant account penalties.
Digital Extremes determines hate speech as any speech that degrades on the basis of characteristics such as race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, religion, age, disability, or any other identities. Digital Extremes has a zero tolerance policy towards the promotion of hate, and usage of hate speech will lead to a permanent account ban.
We consider profanity to be any language considered offensive in everyday settings, such as swear words or obscenities. While our games may contain profanity, excessive use or use directed towards others are considered abusive behavior and may lead to account restrictions.
Our communities should be a pleasant space for all, and Digital Extremes reserves the right to address any conduct which could be considered abusive, hateful, or disruptive, with punitive action up to and including a permanent account ban.

Digital Extremes Guidelines:
These guidelines are designed to make the Warframe and Soulframe Communities an entertaining, interesting, and safe place to be. The expectations outlined below work in tandem with the End User License Agreement (EULA) (Warframe and Soulframe) and Terms of Service (TOS) (Warframe and Soulframe).
These Guidelines apply to in-game activity, including but not limited to: in-game chat, companion & weapon names, and user generated content (such as Follie's Sketchbook, Clan emblems, Dojo builds, Captura, etc.). They also apply to any other official Digital Extremes platforms, such as our Forums, Discord Servers, Streaming Platforms, and Social Media Pages. Due to the large volume of content posted across these Communities every day, our Moderators have the right to remove, edit, move, and lock content, and issue warnings for violations of these Guidelines at their discretion.
If you encounter anyone breaking these guidelines, report their behavior to Digital Extremes for review. In-game, select someone's name for more options, and use the "Report Player" option, or create a support ticket at https://www.digitalextremes.com/support/. On our Forums, the three dots on the top right of a comment will open a report option. Our Discord servers have a #modmail channel at the top with details on how to send and report a message to Discord ModMail.
1.) Respect
Let's respect each other and have fun. Respecting others means not insulting, bullying, or harassing anyone else in our Communities. This includes anything said to intentionally make others feel uncomfortable or unwelcome within our Communities.
Zero Tolerance for Hate Speech
For our definition of hate speech, refer to the Code of Conduct found above.
If you are found posting slurs, hate-speak, or any form of hate speech, (including self-censored, masked, hate symbols, or rearranged versions of these terms) your account will be banned from further posting in Digital Extremes Communities and your access to the game will be revoked.
No Bullying
Our communities are a place of understanding. All players should be treated with compassion and respect. There is zero tolerance for abusive, threatening, demeaning, or intimidating behaviour in our Communities, and bullying will result in action being taken.
No Developer Bashing
We know we aren't perfect, we're humans making games. We work hard and read feedback with earnest care, so any insults or threats towards development staff will have consequences. Constructive feedback is encouraged and is key to us improving the game, and constructive feedback does not include insults or threats.
For Clarification:
What counts as an insult?
Comments which focus on an individual or group, rather than an in-game piece of content. For example: "This weapon design is trash/horrible, whoever came up with it should be fired." would be an insult.
What is constructive feedback?
Constructive feedback, whether positive or negative, is about explaining why you feel a piece of content is good or bad. For example: "This weapon design is horrible, it attacks so slowly that it is ineffective against groups of enemies." would be helpful constructive feedback.
In Person Events
Digital Extremes hosts physical events, during which additional considerations should be made for respecting others in-person.
- Respect other's personal spaces, avoiding unwanted physical contact or advances.
- Avoid disruptive behavior, such as excessive noise, intoxication, or other actions that might disrupt the event.
- Treat Employees, event staff, volunteers, and venue staff with courtesy and respect.
- Do not misrepresent information discussed between Digital Extremes staff and attendees, or impersonate or speak on behalf of Digital Extremes employees.
- Follow any additional posted rules for the in person event you are attending.
The In Person Events Guidelines are in addition to the rest of our Guidelines.
2.) Quality Standards
When interacting in a Digital Extremes Community, conversations should be thoughtful and respectful, encouraging interaction and thoughtful discussion. Stay on-topic, be constructive, and be descriptive. Don't rage or rant, name and shame, use misleading titles, or post spam, advertisements, pornography, or any other inappropriate, obscene, offensive, disruptive, or irrelevant content in any form. We will delete or edit content as needed, and there may be consequences for violating these standards.
AI generated images and content are considered irrelevant content, which we have the right to remove to maintain a high-quality human created Community space. It's a good idea to keep Work-In-Progress (WIP) images when participating in Fan Art or Captura threads on our Forums as proof that the work is not AI or plagiarism
3.) Leaked / Data Mined Content
Do not promote or share leaks or data-mined information. This includes privileged information available through an agreement with Digital Extremes. If you are concerned about leaks please reach out to Digital Extremes directly, and in relevant Communities (in-game, Forums, Discord) please report the comment.
We want to ensure all players can share the excitement of new content when it is released to the live game. Addressing speculation and rumors takes attention away from the crucial content, changes, and fixes that are prioritized to further improve the game.
4.) Profanity
We consider profanity to be any language considered offensive in everyday settings, such as swear words or obscenities. While our games may contain profanity, excessive use or use directed towards others are still considered abusive behavior and may lead to account restrictions.
5.) Privacy
Do not disclose any form of real life information about yourself or anyone else. Real life information includes, name, phone number, address, email address, private/email message content, personal pictures, IP address, and even where you are staying for TennoCon. If information may personally identify you or another user to the community in some way, it is real life information, and is not allowed.
6.) Complaints
We do not tolerate inappropriate, aggressive, or hostile complaints discussed in public. If you have a complaint about another player, report the issue. If you have a complaint about how your behavior has been moderated within any official Digital Extremes community, please reach out to Support at https://www.digitalextremes.com/support/ .
