The Dry Dock is necessary to begin the Rising Tide Quest and to construct the Railjack.
Players can use Dry Docks available in Relays (Saturn, Europa, Eris or Pluto) or construct one in their Dojos. Its construction costs are displayed in the table below:

Please note the Dry Dock room is massive and requires a sufficient amount of space in the Dojo as well as energy. The room itself occupies 20 Capacity.
The Dry Dock takes 12 hours to build (can be Rushed). What begins as a hangar will evolve into a sanctuary, a space to hone and upgrade the Railjack with powerful technology, to become the weapon Tenno will need to face challenges ahead.
Railjack Research
The Research console can be found on the bridge at the right side of the Dry Dock.
Research allows for the discovery and replication of upgraded Railjack Components and Armements, which let Tenno face challenges present in more difficult Proximas.
Equivalents of those items made by different Houses (Zetki, Lavan, Vidar) can be found in Railjack missions, each house has its specialty which affects the items’ performance.

Railjack Customization
The Customization terminal can be found on the bridge at the right side of the Dry Dock.
Railjack can be customized by using the Customize Railjack console. It allows the player to adjust Railjack’s equipped Components, Armaments, Mods, manage Crew Members, and change its appearance.
